Brigid Byrne

Brigid Byrne is a Senior Consultant with Chartis in Clinical Transformation. For more than 40 years, Brigid has worked within healthcare systems, healthcare providers and health payers to streamline care delivery, throughput, enhance overall patient experience, execute population health and value-based care, implement quality and compliance, and heighten strategic position, clinical program development and operational performance, leveraging value-driven data analytics for success.

Her clients include recognized academic medical centers, non-profit health systems, community hospitals and payer plans such as: Beth Israel Lahey Health, Penn Medicine, UPMC, UT Knoxville and Erlanger,  Duke, Vidant, Texas Health Resources, Children’s Medical Center Dallas, University of Kansas, Oregon State Hospital, Kaiser Foundation Health Plan, Security Health Plan and multiple other health entities. She has worked with private equity investors with a focus on health delivery. Brigid’s focus as a consultant and provider is improving organizational care delivery with a focus on patient safety and support of underlying economics through operational improvements and alignment.

Before joining Chartis, Brigid was a Director/Senior Managing Consultant with Prism/BRG where she led projects in care transformation, developed tools and methodologies in care transformation to include physician enterprise, throughput and process-centered redesign in patient access, quality, patient safety, and patient experience. She has worked closely with senior leadership and physicians to assist in their execution of  substantial and sustainable performance improvements.

Brigid is a Reviewer for the National Committee Quality Assurance, NAHQ recognized Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality, an ANCC certified practitioner and gerontologist. Brigid serves as a volunteer provider and board member for the Agape Clinic of Dallas to provide health services to underserved populations.

Brigid holds a Doctorate in Education with Aging, Master’s in Healthcare Administration, a Masters and Bachelors in Nursing.
