Kim Wilson, MS-HI, BSN, RN, HACP-CMS, is an Associate Partner in Performance Transformation with more than 25 years of experience in executive nursing leadership, regulatory compliance, and health informatics. She is a trusted advisor to hospital executives and boards, known for guiding organizations through high-stakes regulatory challenges while simplifying complex clinical and operational systems.

Kim has led Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Det Norske Veritas (DNV) and The Joint Commission (TJC) survey readiness engagements across diverse healthcare settings, including academic medical centers, critical access hospitals, behavioral health facilities, and multi-hospital systems. Her work includes adverse action and immediate jeopardy engagements, corrective action planning, policy and documentation simplification, and sustained compliance strategies aligned with Conditions of Participation and accreditation standards.

With deep expertise in clinical process redesign and electronic medical record (EMR) optimization, Kim has led large-scale simplification initiatives across Epic, Cerner, Meditech, and Medhost environments—reducing documentation burden while strengthening regulatory defensibility and frontline adoption. She has overseen Meaningful Use and Leapfrog initiatives, successfully attesting organizations to federal requirements and quality benchmarks.

Previously, Kim served in senior informatics and regulatory leadership roles, including Director of Informatics and Regulatory Compliance, where she oversaw enterprise EMR strategy, survey preparedness, and clinical education programs. She has led EMR training and onboarding for 1,500+ clinicians annually and managed enterprise implementations spanning CPOE, eMAR, clinical documentation, and patient portals.

A recognized industry contributor, Kim has served on national advisory boards, participated in The Joint Commission Consultant Forum, and authored published thought leadership in digital health. She also brings a strong academic foundation as an adjunct professor, teaching Nursing Informatics and Capstone courses with a focus on regulatory alignment, clinical workflow design, and project management.

Kim received her Bachelor of Science in nursing from East Texas Baptist University and her Master of Science in Health Informatics from Walden University. She is also certified in Sequel Viewpoint.
