Dr. Laura Rife brings over 8 years of experience providing organizations with education on medical staff organizational functions; new medical staff leaders’ roles and responsibilities; the medical staff-board relationship; credentialing and privileging; low-and-no volume practitioners, OPPE/FPPE; how to conduct peer review non-punitively; as well as practitioner conflict, alignment, and behavioral issues. She is board certified by the American Board of Family Practice. She continues to see patients in her Perioperative Medicine Clinic, and serves as her hospital’s Clinical Innovation Officer, Hospitalist Program Director, and Internal Physician Advisor.
Dr. Rife obtained her medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine and holds an MBA in the Business of Medicine from Kelley School of Business. She is a board-certified Physician Advisor from the American Board of Quality Assurance and Utilization Review Physicians. She holds a Green Belt in Lean Six Sigma. Her undergraduate degrees are from Hanover College where she holds Bachelor of Arts degrees in both Chemistry and Spanish. Dr. Rife is a life-long student of leadership and is a fellow of the Tobias Center for Leadership Studies in Indianapolis, Indiana. She lives in Greenfield, Indiana with her husband and their two children.
